Becoming Real – Closer (Stalker remix) [MP3]

What I love about Stalker’s music is just how bloody earthy it sounds. It’s extreme music, sure, and, as it takes scraps of existing music into entirely new places, it’s automatically unsettling, but it’s also really natural – beautiful, deep, essential, ancient. Anyway, it’s nice to see Gristle, Screw and eski coming together in more places than our readers’ iTunes playlist, as Stalker drags Toby Ridler’s frozen E3 sounds out of Babylon’s most glowering tower blocks to somewhere more ancient, even danker, and way scarier, like Cumbria or something.
