Cory Jreamz - Polysemy (EP stream)

Cory Jreamz is a rising hip-hop artist with a lot of talent. Currently residing in Houston, Texas, the 18-year-old has just graduated from high school and released his debut EP ‘Polysemy’ which serves as an introduction impassioned and anecdotal. With influences ranging from Pink Floyd to Blood Orange to artists such as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, it is plain to see how Cory Jreamz shows so much promise already. The four-track ‘Polysemy’ is balmy and languid with production beautifully laid down throughout. IONR plays out smooth and effortless with synths that pass in warm waves and graceful scales. Tropical ballad Love Is You plays host to a beautiful stream of jazz elements with a lulling bass line and truly hypnotic saxophone solo. Within all of this, Cory’s flow weaves fluently and seamlessly, commanding attention with a perfect sense of balance – forceful, yet inoffensively so. Right now Cory is working on his second EP ‘Vague Current Vivid Fated’ which will be released later on this year.
