YG releases protest track 'FTP' (Fuck The Police)
"Protect and serve means duck and swerve."
Amid protests across the United States urging justice after the killing of George Floyd, California rapper YG has shared ‘FTP’, standing for ‘fuck the police’.
“It’s the Ku Klux cops,” he raps on the track produced by Swish & Larry Jayy, firing daggers at US law enforcement: “Protect and serve means duck and swerve.”
“Without that badge you’s a bitch and a half.”
‘FTP’ isn’t the first protest track by YG – in 2016 he released ‘FDT’ (‘fuck Donald Trump’) with Nipsey Hussle.
