DâM-FunK – the man, the mane, the legend – is giving away some old stuff before the release of his new album this summer – his first LP after ‘Toeachizown’, put out on Stones Throw in 2009, and the set of early recordings compiled and released as ‘Adolescent Funk’ on the same label a year later. Levitate From It All is the last of this group of demos and loosies and it’s positively transcendental from the first chord to the final clap. Here’s DâM-FunK himself with the explanation:
