FaltyDL readies new album on Planet Mu, who also have a compilation out soon

‘You Stand Uncertain’ will be the New York producer’s second album on the brilliant British label.

Brooklyn’s Drew Lustman will release his second album, titled ‘You Stand Uncertain’, on Planet Mu on March 14th. “It will be interesting to see how it’s received because it’s definitely different from what people have heard from me so far,” he told us back in October. “It’s very much less aimed at the dancefloor. It’s more me just making music again. But I think there are more tracks on it that are not hyped up, big tracks.”

From what we’ve heard, the songs absolutely are big – but in a deeper, denser, headier way. Safe to say, we’re very excited about a new long player from Mr FaltyDL. Have a listen to some snippets on Planet Mu’s site.

In more very good Planet Mu news, their first release of the year will be ’14 Tracks From Planet Mu’ on January 31st. Yup, that’ll be 14 tracks (count ‘em) of good stuff from Dummy favourites including Swindle (download his Dummy Mix), Ikonika (interviewed here), Solar Bears (interviewed here), Oriol (interviewed here), Floating Points (interviewed here), Rudi Zygadlo (listen to a new track here), Tropics and that DL fella. Have a sneak listen here.
