Glastonbury Festival has announced the finalists for this year's Emerging Talent Competition

Out of the thousands of entrees, the ETC judges have whittled down a long list of 90 artists to select those in with a chance of performing at one of the world's most iconic festivals and winning a cash prize of £5000. Two runners-up will also each be awarded a £2,500 PRS Foundation Talent Development prize to help take their songwriting and performing to the next level.

As previously announced, Ezra Williams (FKA Smoothboi Ezra), who was forced to miss last year's live final through illness, has been given a bye to the final of the 2023 competition, meaning for this year only the competition will have nine finalists in total.

The 2023 finalists include Cordelia Gartside, EVA, FFSYTHO?!, Naomi Kimpenu, N’famady Kouyaté, Prima Queen, The Love Buzz and VLURE.

Supported by PRS for Music and PRS Foundation, the competition gives emerging UK and Ireland-based acts across the musical spectrum the chance to compete for a slot on one of the main stages at this year’s festival.

This year’s invite-only final will take place on Saturday 29 April, 2023.
