It might not be safe to say that Kasra Mowlavi has heard everything but he has heard a good chunk of what the world has to offer in terms of drum n bass. Begun as a DIY tape enthusiast religiously listening to Peel’s Radio One show and finishing up Critical Music label owner and general tastemaker, it’s only natural he should release a mix of some of his favourite tracks. Out on Fabric Records they’ve been lovingly assembled into a sequence as idiosyncratic as Mowlavi’s label roster, and feature unreleased tracks from Russia’s Enei, Alix Perez’s VIP version of Rockwell’s Underpass and collaborations between Phace & Noisia we have little doubt
