King Felix – Armstrong Limit

Laurel Halo's King Felix project places a new trans-symmetrical "jam" online.

People started saying jam to describe songs, not sarnies, around 18 months ago, but no-one makes tracks that unite the conserve with the composition like Laurel Halo under King Felix name. The tracks – notionally more functionally dance-floor focused – sound viscous, thick, bright and pleasantly lumpy, a surreal ooze hiding in supermarket aisles. Perhaps named after the cyclist in a pickle due to his alleged artificial additives, it’ll be out on a self-released split cassette with Pete Swanson, Burning Star Core and Noveller after they played a show together, as no No Fear Of Pop write.
