“Now I’ve come to a point where I’m happy” says Lil B in the spoken word intro to his latest video for Unchain Me from the ‘I’m Gay (I’m Happy)’ album that came out earlier this year. Wearing a pair of shining, dangling earring and a washed-out-coloured denim jacket left open to expose his shirtless, tattooed chest, he walks by the water after during dusk, and the sunset twinkles behind him. “I’ve never been attracted to a man in my life. But yes I am gay, I’m so happy,” The Based God has once told MTV. “I’m a gay, heterosexual male.” Perhaps this is what the video is all about.
