Bonze's 'Love Somebody Else' Muses on Moving On

New single follows sold-out OMEARA show

Up-and-coming electronic-synth-pop artist Bonze returns with new single ‘Love Somebody Else’, another cut from his forecasted EP, ‘Songs For No One’.

The new single comes hot on the heels of Bonze's sold out headline show at London's OMEARA in February.

In a poignant exploration of emotional turmoil, the track delves into the struggle of moving forward and embracing new love when still tethered to the past.

'Love Somebody Else' melds catchy pop melodies with a synth-driven electronic backdrop. Co-crafted, produced, and recorded alongside Duncan Brookfield (Charlie XCX, Anne Marie, Harry Strange) and Fred Clough (San Scout, White Lies), the song encapsulates Bonze's distinctive sonic landscape, blending swirling atmospherics, bass-heavy arpeggios, and crisp guitar riffs beneath his subtly processed, emotionally charged vocals.

It's the third single from Bonze's 'Songs For No One' EP, which is due to release in the summer. The record sees Bonze bare his soul through a series of love songs, "for the love of it, for myself, as if no one was listening."

When it comes to inspirations, Bonze notes the enigmatic Jai Paul as a key influence on his alternative-indietronica-come-synth-pop sound.

'Love Somebody Else' is out now.
