Fun Adults - Sap Solid

Fun Adults are a Leeds-based four piece with a Google-bothering name. Their debut single, ‘Sap Solid’, is due out on October 15th through Tough Love Records.

Carried along by a slow groove, ‘Sap Solid’ is an earthy, downbeat number that combines the ‘organic’ – woodblocks, acoustic guitars and a traditional approach to songwriting – with squeaky-clean, precise production. Each instrument is crisp and polished, the minimalism deployed effectively to allow the track’s moaning vocals to take centre stage. Even during its cut-up breakdown, the song at no point sounds anything other than natural.
