Julia Holter’s work has a been one of the most constant sources of pleasure for all at Dummy for the last 18 months. Her two key albums – ‘Tragedy’ and her most recent ‘Ekstasis’ – are really terrific, but live, where her compostions are laid bare, is where she absolutely soars.

Gladly, then, we share with you a recording of her set at the ‘Ekstasis’ release happening, live from Atawater arts space in LA on the 1st April 2012. Recorded by the shining lights at dublab radio, it’s a stunning insight into Julia’s lively humour and extraordinary sense of music.
