Kaisha is at a 'Crossroads' on her new single

The dreamy song comes ahead of the R&B artist's upcoming EP, 'Nine Yards'

Kaisha is at the peak of her career success so far. She just appeared on a BBC Introducing Live Lounge Session with Melita Dennett. She sold out her first headline show in Brighton and has her London live debut coming up in March. She's living every artist's dream, but that doesn't mean that there wasn't uncertainty and doubt along the way.

That doubt is what culminated into her new single 'Crossroads', which chronicles the R&B artist's journey throughout the pandemic and what that represented for her career, explaining: “2020 was a big blow to my mental health. I was also approaching my mid-twenties, and during that I felt regret for not doing more things or trying out new things. Some days I would just blink and the day would end.”

She knew that she had to channel those emotions into music, saying: “with everything compounding, I felt more and more unsure of the decisions I was making and that took away a lot of the control I had. Endless nights thinking about what could’ve been. 'Crossroads' is really about the chaotic headspace I was in when I was uncertain of my future.”

The single is a part of her upcoming EP, 'Nine Yards', which is set to be released on March 30 and will also feature her recent singles 'Ego' and 'Hard To Please', which explore feelings of anxiety and self-discovery as she gets further and further into her career.
