Missy Elliott - 9th Inning (Snippet)

After much hype and anticipation over the past few weeks over Missy Elliott’s comeback singles, we’ve finally been given a 90 second clip of her first single 9th Inning via the Atlantic Records Soundcloud page, which has been produced by her seasoned collaborator Timbaland and features vocals from Missy herself.

It’s not quite the full track we were expecting to have heard by now but it’s new material nonetheless, which is an achievement in itself for the long-absent Missy.

Her long-awaited ‘Block Party’ album is yet to be given an official release date so until then, it’s snippets like this that will probably keep up on our toes.
