Space Dimension Controller - Welcome To Mikrosector-50

Space Dimension Controller has been putting out killer 12“s for a good while now, but next month will see the release of his debut full length ‘Welcome To Mikrosector-50’ through the unstoppable R&S Records. Yesterday, SDC shared the album’s title track with the world. It takes a couple of minutes to kick into the track proper, but when it does, it’s probably the most smile-inducing thing you’ll hear today. Frantic P-Funk, a camp rap a la Skatt Bros’ Walk The Night, vocoder backing vocals – it’s the best track the Egyptian Lover never released.

To appreciate Space Dimension Controller on a greater level, you have to do a bit of reading: all of his releases have a labyrinthine, Drexciyan backstory underpinning them. ‘Welcome To Mikrosector-50’ is a culmination of these concepts, and you can read about it on the pre-order page of the R&S website.
