Tim Hecker and Oneohtrix Point Never collaborate on new record series

Having been announced as a headliner in this year’s Unsound Festival, Tim Hecker and Oneohtrix Point Never, Daniel Lopatin to his government, are set to perform new material from a collaborative effort made earlier this year.

Their joint record is the first in a new series from Brooklyn’s Software Records called SSTUDIOS (maybe, hopefully, a Phil Collins wink) that is meant to highlight one-off partnerships like this one. Curated by the prolific Lopatin and C Spencer Yeh, it looks set to produce more left-field powerhouse projects in the future. There will be more information on Hecker and OPN’s exciting collaboration as we get it.
