140 Plates, the first 140/dubstep digital download store

... And the crossovers between other genres such as grime or trap

After supporting the genre for almost ten years, Pieter Grauwels, founder of duploc.com (the YouTube channel, the blog, the label(s), the mixes, the dubstep awards, the live events) has now launched 140 Plates, the first ever download store strictly for 140/dubstep.

Lacking the platform 140/dubstep deserves to thrive to its fullest, 140 Plates is dedicated to specifically champion the scene, prompted by sales numbers from other distribution-dependent stores. 140 Plates have decided it is time that a store sets the example in fairly paying its artists/labels, and have promised to take 3x less of a cut while not overcharging customers.

The store has community at its heart and it’s not strictly about BPM. Rather, it’s about the entire culture built around the scene and the crossovers between other genres such as grime or trap too.
