Black Strobe at work on new material, reissues Italian Fireflies

French electroclash pioneer is set to release a new album later in the year. In the meantime, there's a Greatest Hits album and this reissue to content yourself with.

As the man responsible for the UK’s early millennial electroclash explosion in the wake of their 2002 hit Me and Madonna, Arnaud Rebotini’s Black Strobe will be returning (now without original collaborator Ivan Smagghe) with a brand new album later in the year. In anticipation of the French producer’s fresh yield, he’ll be dropping a significant retrospective with a greatest hits compilation beforehand. For now, though, there’s a reissue of his famous Italian Fireflies out on March 5th via Rebotini’s own Black Strobe Recordings. Expect some extra remixes from Hey Today, Yan Wagner and more.
