Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland are starting their own label

The Wire today shared that Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland are planning to start their own label, rather ambitiously titled ‘World Music Group’.

The news comes after the recent announcement that Hippos In Tanks are putting out a remastered version of Dean Blunt’s ‘The Narcissist II’ EP at the end of this month. This coincided with Blunt appearing live with James Ferraro, as the pair claimed to be planning a ‘Watch The Throne’ style tour for 2013.

As the last claim may turn out to attest, it’s sometimes worth taking Dean and Inga news with a pinch of salt, although the very prospect of what the enigmatic duo would choose to release on ‘World Music Group’ is enough to perk up our excitable little minds.
