Crass: There Is No Authority But Yourself – full documentary

Crass were a band that combined the communitarian ideals of centuries of English radicals with the punk noise of the day and some really forward-thinking ideas about tapes and sampling that lots of people forget about. They’re a legendary, inspiring band, and this hour-long 2006 documentary by Dutch filmmaker Alexander Oey, centring on Dial House, their open space in Epping Forest, as well as interviews with Steve Ignorant, Penny Rimbaud and Gee Vaucher is pretty essential watching, really.
