Sampha teams up with Speakers Corner Quartet on new single and video 'Can We Do This?'

The video features cameos from James Massiah, Joe Armon-Jones, Lea Sen, Tirzah, Anja Ngozi and many more.

Sampha has teamed up with Speakers Corner Quartet for a spell-binding new single and video, titled 'Can We Do This?'.

Opening his account for 2023, Sampha, who is good friends with the quartet, showcases his distinctive vocals atop a woozy, dream-like instrumental.

Speakers Corner Quartet aren't a new band. A story fifteen years in the making, they started as the house band at the open-mic night Brixton, London. Made up of Biscuit, Kwake Bass, Peter Bennie, and Raven Bush, the band's unique blend of jazz and electronics has seen them rise to cult status in London's underground jazz movement.

Directed by Akinola Davies, the cinematic monochromatic visual sees Sampha and the band rub shoulders with some important figures from the UK music scene, including James Massiah, Joe Armon-Jones, Lea Sen, Tirzah, Anja Ngozi and many more.
