Watch: Lone - Backtail Heavy

Last month, Lone released a new single by asking fans to call a special hotline to hear the song through a fictitious pirate radio station called Levitation FM. That song was Backtail Was Heavy, the lead single from his upcoming album 'Levitate' which now has a video.

Directed by Hugo Jenkins, the newly shared visual is a suspenseful look at a day in the life of a young boy who follows the pathway from education to crime, framed by the hallmarks of kitchen sink realism and gritty working class environments and ending with a cliffhanger. Speaking to Dazed about the video, Lone said that Mike Leigh's Naked was a visual reference, which was shot in the borough of Newham in East London.

Lone will release 'Levitate' through R&S Records on May 27th (pre-order).
