Lucy Tun Returns With Summery Bop, 'Come To My House'

First new music since her debut EP last year

It's 2am, the clubs and bars are closed, but you're feeling the groove. There's only one thing for it: house party.

On Lucy Tun's new single, 'Come To My House', kitchen raves are king. The summery 90s house tune is an ode to youth and frivolity; of carefree, late summer nights and the importance of friendship.

Speaking on the track Lucy adds: "The song tells the story of two friends looking for a motive but everything is closed so they have their own solo house party. It’s a nod to Queen Latifah's 1989 single 'Come into my House' and that era of feel good piano house. The song was mainly inspired by the UK underground dance scene and DJ sets I heard on nights out.”

'Come To My House' is Tun's first new music since her seven-track, alt-pop debut EP, 'Unreal', last year, and marks the beginning of a new era for the British-Burmese artist. To celebrate the launch of her new single, Tun hit Axel Arigato's Soho shop for an in-store performance.

This year has seen Lucy Tun embark on her first UK tour, which saw her play festivals such as DotToDot and CloseUp, with Kendal Calling billed for later this summer.

'Come To My House' is out now via Platoon.
