WOO HAH! festival has been postponed until 2021

The Dutch government has prohibited all major events up until 1st September

The 2020 edition of the Netherlands’ WOO HAH! festival has been cancelled and moved to July 9th-11th 2021 in its original location at Safari Park Beekse Bergen.

One of Europe’s biggest hip-hop festivals, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, DaBaby, slowthai and many more had been booked to perform.

A statement released by the festival reads: “Due to the ongoing global battle against COVID-19, the Dutch government has decided to prohibit all major events up until 1st September. As this rules out WOO HAH! for 2020, we will now return to Beekse Bergen 9-10-11 July 2021.

“After the success of our sold-out edition in 2019, our team immediately started preparations to make WOO HAH! 2020 our best edition yet. In the last few weeks the COVID-19 pandemic spread further and further. We were reluctant to believe the pandemic would also put a stop to WOO HAH! 2020, but right now we’re at the point where a summer without WOO HAH! festival is inevitable. We were very eager to ensure WOO HAH! 2020 was our best edition yet – therefore this makes this a very difficult decision and feels like a huge defeat across the entire team.

“This means a summer without the best hip hop acts on our stage, a summer without clouds of dusts erupting from our festival grounds due to all the mosh pits, but it most definitely will be a summer without all of your energy that is raised higher and higher every year… We kindly ask you to keep this energy stored for next year as WOO HAH! will return on 9-10-11 July 2021 at Beekse Bergen. We cannot wait to see you there!”

The festival invited ticket holders with questions about refunds and ticket validity to visit woohahfestival.com for more information.
