Top Boy star Hope Ikpoku Jnr drops lively visuals for debut single 'Stop the Rain'
Top Boy star Hope Ikpoku Jnr is following up the release of his debut single ‘Stop the Rain’ with a brand new visual.
Most people will know Hope for his role as Aaron in the hit Netflix series Top Boy, playing the studious middle brother to Jamie who has his heart set on completing his university degree.
However, last month Hope surprised fans by sharing ‘Stop the Rain’, a melodic drill track demonstrating his talent as an artist while building a platform for himself to pursue a path in the music industry going forward.
Now that Ikpoku Jnr has his maiden release under his belt, the actor-turned-rapper is keeping up the momentum with a lively music video, showing himself and fellow artist BILLY turn up at a party with friends. It’s a strong debut offering from Hope, with much more still yet to come from the young creative, both on-screen and musically.
